The host bus adapter has a PCIe x8 3.0 interface as well as 8 internal ports for SATA or SAS drives via 2 internal miniSAS SFF-8643 ports. The maximum data transfer rate is 12 GBps. It is universally compatible with all known brands and is functionally identical to the Broadcom / LSI model 9311-8i. The HBA is flashed to the IT mode firmware 16.00.14.
