The host bus adapter 9400-16i by Broadcom lets you increase the number of hard drives connected to your server or workstation. The HBA has a PCIe x8 3.0 interface as well as 16 internal ports for SATA or SAS drives via 4 miniSAS SFF-8643 ports. The maximum data transfer rate is 12 GBps. It is universally compatible with all known brands and technically identical to the model Avago / LSI 9400-16i. The HBA is flashed to the latest SAS/SATA IT mode firmware version P24. You can also flash the NVME firmware if you want to use NVME/PCIe drives. Delivery includes full and low profile brackets for installation.
